Back in the days before letsdestroytheinternet.org existed, I used to go to various discussion forums and talk at great lengths about Treasure's Ikaruga. I must have written a small book about that game, because it's a game that just sparks this passion in me. I still get chills on occasion whenever I watch Ikaruga videos or play the game, and I've owned a version since 2003 (has it really been five years?)!
As you may know, Ikaruga has been ported again, this time to Xbox 360's Live Arcade platform. For ten dollars, you get what seems to be a really good looking version of the game, with the crisp sound effects of the Dreamcast/arcade versions, some bonus stuff, and some strange changes and bugs that will hopefully be ironed out to please hardcore fans of the game like myself. I haven't played it yet due to not owning an Xbox 360, but from what I've seen I'd really like to.
So if you're one of those folks who've been dying to try this game but didn't want to import the Dreamcast version or hunt down the Gamecube version on eBay, well here's your chance. You're not going to find too many shooters of this calibur being released for such a great price, and this time it's not going to go rare and turn into one of those eBay relics. So give the game I think might be the greatest game ever a try.

Okay, I'm busy and lazy. I can't help it, it's just the way Youngstown eats away at your brain. Work-work-work, go home and veg out in front of the monitor. Then go to school and maybe work-work-work some more. Maintaining a web site just seems like something that would require more time and energy, and I really don't feel like devoting either to anything anymore.
But I am working on this site in the background. The random text generator up there by that huge text logo? I finally got around to making a script that can edit that directly. That horribly long archive page, filled with almost a hundred items? Well, on my test server here at home, I've got a semi-working pagination script that I'm tweaking (currently, it lists every possible page at the bottom of the site. It looks ridiculous with 20 pages listed at the bottom). I also have a few new ideas in my head to actually give this site some worthwhile content. Not, "HAHA HERE'S SOME RANDOM LINK OR VIDEO BYEBYE FOR SIX MONTHS" content, but actual content. I hope.
But I'm not halfassing it this time. When everything is complete and fully functioning, it'll be done and uploaded. I don't feel like screwing around with this stupid site anymore, I want it to last as long as it can and for it to be something I can say I'm proud of. Which at this very minute, it is not. If it takes six months to implement everything, then so be it. But when it is done, there'll be none of this sporadic posting of complete bullshit. Things will matter.

Web 2.0 can suck my ass, but trends dictate that tables go bye-bye. They're to present data, not align web sites. I, for one, welcome our new div overlords. Internetdestroyer4 is in effect and although I haven't implemented the sidebar, I like it very much. For now.
Still, there's much to work on, besides that whole sidebar thing (the breaking of which brought about this remodel). What other completely pointless web sites have gone through this many revisions in 2 years? See, that's how much I love you, you fucktard. Go jerk off to dickgirl porn bye.
